Welcome to "Noir 2024"
Inspiration by Fred Lyon
My story
It all started when one day I came across a book called "San Francisco Noir" by famous photographer Fred Lyon. Taking photographs of the city in the years of 1940 -1960. He inspired me to share my vision of how I see life in my dreams. Before color everything was always in black and white. The beauty of black and white always spoke volumes to me as a child looking back at my ancestors photos. Therefore, I realized that it was a grey area. Something just sparked in my mind to share the classic art of Noir, and how elegant it may be to the keen eye. So here I bring to you my latest project of "Noir 2024”. These are photos I have re-created to show you how I see things in my eyes before color was ever introduced to photography. Black and white should never be forgotten in this time of color.
